About the role

The Hutchins School is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified relief teachers (Primary) to join our register for both half-day and full-day opportunities, as well as short-term contract positions.

As a leading independent Anglican day and boarding school for boys, Hutchins provides a supportive and engaging teaching environment with a strong focus on student wellbeing and academic excellence.

We are looking for educators who:

  • are registered with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board (or are eligible to obtain it);
  • demonstrate a commitment to boys’ education and positive classroom engagement;
  • are flexible, reliable, and available on short notice; and
  • support the School’s Anglican values and community ethos.
